Meymuna Hussein-Cattan is the Founder and Executive Director at The Tiyya Foundation, which creates communities of support and organizes access to economic opportunities and critical resources for immigrants, refugees, and displaced indigenous communities. She is also the Founder of Flavors from Afar, which is focused on serving bright ingredients prepared fresh by local chefs who happen to be former refugees & asylum seekers.
